We are looking for skilled and ambitious developers, who wants to join our passionate team of 25 people in building the next-generation of 3D education solutions, by leveraging the most cutting edge technologies such as Oculus Rift, adaptive learning, Kinect and face, body and emotion tracking systems

Our team of 25 passionate and dedicated developers, marketers, content writers and account managers are located in Copenhagen, Denmark and Bali, Indonesia.
Why is our product so successful?
By integrating an engaging virtual 3D world built with Unity3D and combining it with a science laboratory with theoretical materials and quizzes, we are able to push the boundaries of modern education solution to deliver the best possible learning tool to students around the world. Despite being relatively new, our product has a proven effect – we make students perform 67-101% better than with regular class-room lectures, as proven in a scientific study recently published in Nature Journal.

Countless top universities around the world are already using our products – among them Stanford University, UC Berkeley, The Technical University of Denmark and Hong Kong University. In order to achieve this, we strive to inspire thousands of students all over the world to study science and eventually create innovative solutions for the challenges we face today. Our efforts have been recognized and rewarded by several organizations including Nature Journal, Sanoma, Venture Cup and funding from the Danish Market Development Fund as all as the Danish Ministry of Science. Our products are used by more than 20,000 students globally; a number that’s rapidly increasing every day.
Location
Not only is this an opportunity to work with one of the world's most amazing Unity3D based education solutions - you will also be working from our amazing offices in Bali with an incredibly fun team.
We ask that you join our team in Bali for 6-12 months (or more), to build up a close connection with all our developers who meet up regularly in Bali.
Your family can join too, and we'll help you find housing etc. (heck, we even got villas and houses ready and waiting for you now).

Responsibilities
- As one of our lead C# developers, you will be responsible for extending our core simulation platform
- Engineer cutting-edge technologies, such as facial emotion recognition and adaptive learning algorithms, all integrated into Unity3D
- Designing and developing new features for our highly popular virtual laboratory simulation and gamified education platform
- Work as a member of a cross functional team comprised of C# Developers, 3D Artists, QA Engineers, Content Writers and Content Developers
- Help to drive improvements to our coding practices (such as test driven development practices)
- Mentor team members to help them produce output of the highest possible quality
- Contribute product ideas and work with the Product Team to help refine requirements
- Work with QA to define appropriate test cases
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience designing, developing and maintaining large-scale applications using .NET Framework and C# (you will be working with a larger back-end architecture, built to run all the Unity3D simulations)
- 2+ years’ experience designing, developing and maintaining Unity3D games or applications
- Experience working with Scrum, XP or a similar Agile methodology
- Demonstrable experience of the full software development lifecycle including detailed design, code development, code reviews, unit testing, build/test support and final deployment activities and post deployment support
- Expert level knowledge of C#, Unity3D engine, XML
- Bonus: XSD, XSLT and Rest API experience (we compile the architecture's model layer into XSLT templates for the content developers to easily develop new labs for Labster)
